Delivery / Returns
Our online shop is still open during the ongoing situation. Some of our items are out of stock but are available on backorder. Deliveries will be grouped and sent twice a week and will usually be despatched by Royal Mail. Please allow a few extra days for your order to arrive, and thank you for your support.
We make every effort to ensure all products are in stock, but in the event of us not having your chosen product we will contact you and offer either a refund or a later delivery if possible.
We aim to process orders within three working days, although at busy times we may take up to one working week. Orders placed on a Saturday and Sunday will be processed from the next working day. We offer UK delivery through Royal Mail, Royal Mail Signed For, and Royal Mail Tracked with Signature, which usually arrives within two working days after despatch. We use Parcelforce or DHL on heavier or bulkier orders, which can take two working days to arrive. Signed For, Parcelforce and DHL all require a signature as proof of delivery.
International orders are sent by Royal Mail International Standard, which takes 7–14 working days, depending on destination. This service is not tracked: if you wish to pay extra for a tracked and/or expedited service please email us before placing an order: email@example.com Bulkier or heavier shipments will be sent using Parcelforce Global, DHL or UPS Express, which takes around three to four working days from despatch, depending on the service. Please note that LCBA cannot be held responsible for any import duties, taxes or delays in processing once your order arrives in-country.
Deliveries to the United States
Typically orders are sent to the United States using Royal Mail International Standard (fulfilled by USPS in-country.) The actual costs may be higher than what is automatically calculated at checkout. In the event of underpaid postage, we will contact you to cover the excess charges.
Deliveries to Central and South America
We are unable to offer Royal Mail International Standard to countries in Central and South America. Please contact us for an international courier estimate.
Occasionally, postage charges are less than what is automatically calculated at checkout. In the event of overpaid postage we will contact you to issue a refund.
Out of stock items
In the rare event of us not having your chosen product we will contact you and offer either a refund or a later delivery if possible.
We hope you are happy with your purchases from London Centre for Book Arts, but if not, we can offer a refund on any item as long as it is returned in a saleable condition. Please note that we are unable to reimburse postage costs for returns.
