The group spent 8 weeks conducting research in the archive at 56a Infoshop, a radical social centre in Elephant & Castle, London (https://56a.org.uk). During the initial stages of the project, the group consulted material related to the Peace Movement in the UK since the Cold War; housing rights campaigning across London; material on feminist organising including the Wages for Housework Movement, the Reclaim the Nights Movement and a selection of material produced around LGBTQ+ struggles. Together with showcasing creative responses to the archive, the publication includes writing, recorded conversations, and a set of references and prompts to conduct collaborative research.

The project seeks to answers the following questions: How can the archive be explored collectively?
