We’re excited to welcome back Johanna Maierski of Colorama (Berlin) to LCBA for a special week-long course all about Riso. Suitable for beginners and those who want to refine their skills.
The Riso (Ri-sō), or Risograph Duplicator, is a low cost and environmentally friendly printing process that can produce results that are rich in colour and texture and a bit analogue due to its unique mechanics. A printing process particularly suited for fliers, posters, comics and zines.
Participants will meet for five consecutive days at the LCBA studio and learn the skills to independently operate a Riso duplicator and produce editions of their own work.
