LCBA Products & Services

All products viewed online are sold subject to written and photographic description. We aim to make these as accurate as possible but please understand that human error may occur. Any errors that occur will be rectified by contacting you first and agreeing on a solution. This may be a refund, a replacement or a cancellation of the order. We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. We reserve the right to change the design and specification of products. Descriptions and prices are subject to change without notice. We may also remove products from sale without notice.

Occasionally the site may be offline due to technical error or for maintenance.


Refusal of Transaction

We reserve the right to refuse any order or refuse service to anyone, for any reason at any time. In using our site, you agree to provide current, complete and accurate billing and shipping information for all purchases made at our store and that your use of, or inability to use, the service is at your sole risk.

If you click on a link to an external site we are not responsible for the privacy policy of that site. Please refer to their own code of practice and security measures.


Privacy Policy

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. None of this information is divulged to another party. Furthermore, you can contact us at any time and ask us to remove this information from our system.

We send marketing emails, usually every month, and for this we us Mailchimp. We will only add you to our mailing list if you sign up for it. You can unsubscribe from this list at any time.

Shopify

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. This is an online e-commerce platform allowing us to sell our products to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall and adhere to GDPR legislation. Payment

Our payment gateway is Stripe. Stripe are approved by all major acquiring banks and they are Level 1 compliant under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). This is the highest level of certification available. Read more about Stripe here: https://stripe.com/gb/privacy

Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase. After that is complete your purchase transaction information is deleted. LCBA is PCI compliant, the requirements of which help ensure secure handling of card information by our store.


Security

LCBA will never disclose your personal information to another party. We employ sensible precaution and practices to ensure it is not inappropriately used, accessed or disclosed.

No internet transmission is 100% secure.
Our banking partner requires us to follow PCI-DSS requirements, which we must pass annually. Credit card information is processed and encrypted by SagePay.

In using our site you accept the inherent security risks of providing information over the internet and will not hold us responsible for any breach of security, unless this is due to our negligence.

Shopify runs an integral fraud detection system. Any ordered received which scores high as possibly fraudulent will be cancelled and the card refunded. The customer in question will be notified.


Cookies.

Cookies are small files downloaded to a computer when you visit a website. They are designed to improve your experience on that site and do not harm your computer. We, through Shopify, use cookies in this way. Here is a list of cookies, provided by Shopify, that we use:

_session_id, unique token, sessional, Allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc).

_shopify_visit, no data held, Persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit, Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits.

_shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day, Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.

cart, unique token, persistent for 2 weeks, Stores information about the contents of your cart.

_secure_session_id, unique token, sessional storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite If the shop has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.
