These drawings and fast sketches form the base for her works on paper, canvas and installations. The topics evolve between everyday passers by on the train, in magazines, on the streets combined with history and more exciting images of 'far-away' places. Between mysterious legs from strangers to embellishing the visual world into artificial colours. Patterns of red and green lines recur in a direct and linear way.

In her floorcloth books she combines cheap materials with chic topics, in monoprints, cut-outs, rhythmical shapes to give the floorcloth (a cloth or rag for cleaning a floor) an aesthetic value.
